Refunds, Returns & Cancellation Policy

At RentSailor, we keep our policies transparent and practical for a rental business. Since our products are rented and not sold outright, refunds and returns are handled differently from standard e-commerce orders.

Order Cancellation Policy

We allow you to cancel your order until it reaches your doorstep for all our rental products.

  • You may cancel the full order before delivery without hassle.
  • Please check your products thoroughly before accepting delivery.
  • If the order is cancelled before successful delivery, eligible prepaid amounts will be refunded to the original payment method.
  • Refund processing timelines may vary depending on your payment partner or bank.
Important: Once the product is accepted at delivery, the order is treated as successfully delivered and standard post-delivery return terms will apply.

Delivery Acceptance & Product Check

We request all customers to inspect the product properly at the time of delivery. This is the most important checkpoint for both quality assurance and order confirmation.

  • Check the product for visible damage, major defects, or incorrect item delivery.
  • Do not accept the delivery if there is a serious issue visible at handover.
  • Once accepted, the product is considered delivered in good order unless a verified service issue is reported later.

Returns After Delivery

As RentSailor operates on a rental model, returns after delivery are treated as an early return or service closure request, not as a standard retail return.

  • Return requests after delivery may be accepted subject to the applicable rental plan terms.
  • Early return does not automatically qualify for a full refund.
  • Any billing adjustment, if applicable, will be based on the actual usage duration, committed tenure, and operational costs.
  • Longer rental plans offer better monthly value, so ending early may affect the effective pricing benefit of the selected tenure.

Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be processed in genuine and eligible scenarios, including order cancellation before delivery or verified delivery-side issues.

  • Cancelled before delivery and before successful handover.
  • Delivery refused due to a valid product issue identified at the doorstep.
  • Verified service-related issue where resolution or replacement is not feasible as per our support review.
Refunds are generally not applicable for:
change of mind after accepting delivery, partial usage of the rental period, or minor cosmetic signs on refurbished products that do not affect functionality.

Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method used during checkout.
  • Banking and payment gateway timelines may vary.
  • If you have not received your refund within the expected window, please contact our support team with your order details.

Refurbished Products Policy

Some RentSailor products may be offered as refurbished, professionally maintained, or as good as new.

  • Every such product is tested and quality-checked before delivery.
  • Minor cosmetic wear may exist as part of normal rental usage history.
  • Such cosmetic differences alone do not qualify as defects for refund or return claims.
